I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I must admit it is hard for me not to judge an office by its flowers. There is, after all, only one chance to make a first impression. We began doing corporate and restaurant floral about eight years ago, and much to my surprise, it has become one of my favorite parts of the business. Perhaps it is the combination of challenges...showy but not ostentatious, long-lasting but continually fresh, complementary but impactful. We have always attracted very artistic businesses, ie., architects, publishers, and romantic French restaurants. My personal favorites are the ones that ask us to be modern while honoring the past.
